Day 2: Arrival in County Dublin- Monday September 15th

Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Boyne Valley with Irish Music Night Option- Tuesday September 16th
Visit the famous Bru na Boinne World Heritage site.

Includes a visit to Newgrange (older than the pyramids, older than Stonehenge). 

 Fascinating walking tour of the historic gated town of Drogheda. Dark history includes the medieval Laurence's Gate, haunting St Peter’s graveyard and the relic of St. Oliver Plunkett’s Head.

Day 5: Belfast City with Giant's Causeway Option -Thursday September 18th

Spend the day discovering Belfast’s charm on your own—visit historic landmarks, enjoy local cafes, or shop in the vibrant city center.

Day 6:  Donegal via Derry City - Friday September 19th

Start the day with a guided tour of Derry City, exploring its rich history and iconic landmarks like the 17th-century city walls. 

Afterward, journey to the charming Donegal Town, where you’ll settle in for an overnight stay and enjoy its cozy atmosphere and local hospitality.

Day 7:  Donegal Town with Slieve League Option  - Saturday September 20th

Spend the day in the historic town of Donegal or join us on excursion

Slieve League, the highest coastal cliffs in Europe. A stunning natural wonder. These majestic cliffs are higher than the Cliffs of Moher and offer panoramic views of the rugged coastline. Not to be missed.

Day 9:  Sligo Town with Arigna Mines & Drumshanbo Distillery Option - Monday September 22nd

Enjoy a day exploring the exciting town of Sligo, filled with excellent pubs, shops and museums.

You'll leave understanding and appreciating the resilience of the Irish people. Join us in exploring this hidden gem!

 

Check in to your Athlone hotel, along the banks of the famous River Shannon.
